How to register to vote
On or before October 25: You can register online at vote.utah.gov. You will then receive a ballot in the mail.
After October 25: Visit any voting location in your county to register to vote and cast a ballot. Remember, in Utah you can register to vote up to and on election day – just be sure to get to a voting location by 8 PM on Tuesday, September 5.

You can look up your voter registration (and update if necessary) at vote.utah.gov. Or, visit your county clerk’s office.
How to vote
Vote your mail ballot. Every Utahn who is registered to vote at their current address should receive a ballot. Ballots will be mailed starting October 15. You can return your ballot by mail OR deposit it at a drop box or voting location. If you mail your ballot, check with your county clerk if postage is required.
Vote in person. If you did not receive a ballot in the mail, lost or ruined your mail ballot, or want to vote in person, simply visit any voting location in your county of residence. You must bring identification – For a list of acceptable forms of identification, visit VOTE411.org.
